First Day Out 2024

River Road South, Middle Provo River. The air temperature was approximately 45°, and the water temp was around 40°. This is my second time out this year, and it was much slower than last Thursday. It is bright, sunny, and warmer than it should be, which contributed to things. I was able to move a few small fish on a “see em,” but mostly, it was just me post-holing in the snow. Last week the midges were abundant and the sky was cloudy - much better fishing conditions than today.
